James Lewis Bledsaw Sr.'s Obituary
James Lewis Bledsaw, Sr, 84, of Decatur, IL, passed away September 24, 2025. Moran and Goebel Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.
James was born May 19th, 1941, in Decatur, IL, son of Lewis and June Bledsaw, retired from Northfolk and Southern Railroad, loved spending time with family, hunting, fishing, campfires, and working on family projects or repairs.
He was married to Barbara J. Bledsaw for 60 years. He was preceded in death by Barbara J. Bledsaw.
Survivors include sons James Jr. (Barb), Danny (Pam), brother and sisters – Linda (Jerry Kitchens), Charlotte, Robert, Debbie (Russ Lucas) and Carol, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 6th, 2025, at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
