My sympathy to all the family. My grandfather was Roy Meador – a brother to Jim's grandfather. My memories are of Doc and Amy coming to visit out on the farm west of Maroa where I lived. I was raised on that place and after I was married we lived there for 44 years. We moved to Clinton in December last year. My mother was Pearl {Meador} Braden – daughter of Roy Meador. My name is Ruth Ann {Braden} Wilson. I'm not sure I ever met Jim. But I do recall that just a day or so before our daughter was killed while riding her horse, Doc and Amy came to visit us. I believe I saw Amy at the grocery store with a son or daughter. Did she go into a nursing home? I had an aunt at Lincoln Manor and I'm thinking I may have seen her there.I am so sorry you had to lose Jim at such a young age and you certainly have our sympathy. We are thinking of you.
