So, so sorry to hear of Jeannie's passing. What a wonderful, vivacious person. "Mom" Devereux was a staple in my years growing up in Kankakee, IL. Always full of fun and always had a kind, uplifting word to share. I'll never forget when she and James came to my wedding years ago in South Bend, IN. They arrived in a motorhome and proceeded to have a tailgate in the church parking lot. Let's just say that everyone stopped at the motorhome prior to attending the church…and I mean everyone! Did I mention that 450 people attended the wedding ceremony? Needless to say, all attendees had a huge smile on their face!! Great times, great memories! One of the kindest people I have had the opportunity to meet in my 53 years. You will be missed. Love, Hugh Janda
Our deepest sympathy to all of you in the loss of your wife and Mom. We have many great memories of Jeannie that we will forever cherish. Forever in our hearts and thoughts. Dennie & Dianne Packee
Jim,We are thinking of you and your family. I'll bet there was cheering in heaven when Jean walked through those pearly gates. She was always the "life of the party". Please know we are praying for all. Sorry we couldn't go to Decatur, Larry is having some health issues which prevents us from doing such.Larry & Cherie Saindon
