I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Harper, however; Carol and I are both on the Springfield Ski Club Board. It has been and will continute to be a pleasure knowing and working with Carol. Her character shines through and I can only think that has to come from her parents, and that Ms. Harper's advice and support help shape Carol into the person she is today. My condolences.Lynn Bierma Springfield, IL US
Carol, We were so saddened to hear of your mother's passing. We know it has been a long and difficult journey for you and your family, full of hope when she was feeling well and then sadness and disappointment as her health faded again. This is truly a "sweet sorrow"…knowing that our loved one no longer suffers, but our hearts are left here to mourn them and miss them always. You are a dear friend and we mourn your loss with you today. May God bless your family and may you all find peace & comfort in the days ahead. Springfield, IL US
Carol Dick and I were so sorry to hear about your mother's death. As I know from my father's recent death, it is such a bitter sweet moment. You will miss your mother very much, but you also know she is at peace and not suffering. Watching someone suffer is so difficult. Suzanne shared that the last several weeks have been very hard for all of you. You will be in Dick's and my prayers. Sincerely, Cindy Springfield, IL US
Ray,We were so sorry to hear about Jean's passing. We knew it was just a matter of time, but that sure doesn't make it any easier. We're never really prepared to let go. Just wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Decatur, IL US

Roger and I are very sorry for your loss. From the anecdotes you've shared with us about your mom, we pictured a woman who had a lot of character and spunk, even in her illness. We would like to plant something in her memory. Was there a certain flower or plant that she especially liked?Sincerely, Hope and Roger Schnelten Springfield, IL US
