Jean Marie. Harper 72 of Rural Ramsey and formerly of Decatur died at 5:00 am Monday August 9, 2004 in her Home.

Jean was born October 18, 1931 in Decatur to Harry and S. Marie Dickey Cooley. She was a Homemaker and graduated from Decatur High School. She married Raymond R. Harper on August 3, 1948 he survives.
Surviving is her husband of 56 years, children, Connie H. Requarth and husband Bill of Decatur; IL Michael D. Harper and Wife Raquel of N. Miami Beach, FL; Anne H. Jurgens and husband Larry of Lockport, IL; Russell D. Harper and wife Karen of Ramsey, IL; Patrick L. Harper and wife Debbie of Decatur, IL; Carol M. Harper and boyfriend Robin Fuchs of Springfield, IL; and Ed Harper and Wife Dawn of Argenta, IL; brothers, Robert Cooley and wife Doris of Decatur, IL; Richard Cooley and wife Lois of Ace, TX; and Thomas Cooley and wife Cheryl of Summerville, FL; sister-in-law, Dorothy Meis of Decatur, IL; grandchildren, Jeffrey Jurgens, Lindsay Jurgens, Kyle Jurgens, David Harper, Lydia Harper, Tim Requarth, Suzy Requarth, Traig Harper, Sabrina Walters, and Jami Harper; step-grandchildren, Tina Crosby and Crysti Keppler; five great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
Her parents, one brother, James Cooley and one son, Larry Harper, preceded her in death.
