I am sadend to here about the passing away of my dear friend Joe.We went to school together for 12 Years, and even took a math test in high school together and just barley passed it by copying off of each others paper.when the teacher left the room in high school.,and played cards together.for a good many years, till I moved to Texas. Dear Audrey and Family,Words cannot begin to describe how deeply saddened we were on hearing of Joe's passing. Our friendshipbegan in the first grade at the old St.Johns and has endured for 70 years since then.Pleasant Memories too many to count from going all through school together to working at Superior Welding, the Naval Reserves on up to the CREMO club and associates meetings at the barn.Joe was always there to help you or anybody that needed it.He would help, fix or make whatever you needed and never would accept any payment of any kind.He surely will be missed by many friends he left behind. Dear Audrey and Family,I was saddened to hear of Joes passing. He was a great man and will be missed by many. I have known Joe for most of my life and have learned many things from him. Most of all, his appreciation of life and how he enjoyed it no matter what hand he was dealt. I have counted on Joe for many years to help me with some very complicated projects in the plant and he was always there to help. He seemed to enjoy helping anyone who asked for it. He tackled every project with his common sense approach using his vast knowledge and experience along with his sense of humor and his smile. He will be missed by everyone here at Union Iron.May God bless you and your family during this time and always.Bob Curry Jr.Union Iron Works Decatur, IL US
