Joe worked for me when I managed the Hawthorn Suites and I still occassionally would stop in to say Hi and catch up on things with Joe. Funny thing, we learned real quick with Joe not to schedule him for 7am shifts as he liked to stay up late and sleep in..lol. Joe was a great employee, and helped anytime he was needed. He was attentive to the guests too. While he was an employee, I still valued his friendship too. Joe will be sadly missed. I had not known Joe very long as I just started at the Hawthorn, but in that short of time it did not take long to realize he was a hard working and very thoughtful young man. I met Joe when we were but teenagers working at Dairy Queen. We used to have so much fun hanging out in his car on break listening to Lords of Acid and talking about life.
