My sympathies and prayers to your family at this time. I saw the name Eckel in the paper and had to read it. My greatgrandfather's name was Eckel. He was born, I believe, in Iola, IL in 1899. He had a sister that died before 40 yrs old, maybe even younger. I was just wondering if you were somehow related? My name is Esther Nohren, and my email address is [email protected] .
