I just today learned of the passing of your beloved mother. She was truly a special lady. She was one of my favorite cheerleader moms, as I was privileged to have Susie, Theresa, and Carol as cheerleaders at Lakeview High School. Judy and John were always enthusiastic and supportive of all school activities. She was a shining example of what loving moms should be! I know you will all miss her terribly, but you will have wonderful memories of your time together to cherish forever. My prayers and condolences go out to your entire family. You have lost a very special mom!

We are so sorry for your loss. We love Judy and spent many days and weekends at the house during our Lakeview days! She was like a 2nd mama to us and we will always remember how welcoming and kind she was to include us and made us feel as part of her family! She was funny and laughed and I will always remember the fun we had with her. Heaven gained an angel and she will truly be missed.

Growing up and being a family friend, I always met someone new when I was at the Snyder House, but never met a stranger. So much life was experienced being around their home, around their campsite, or at a sporting event. She was everyone’s biggest fan and always shared a smile and a story. Her legacy will be shared by what she has instilled in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am blessed to have known her, Judy will be missed!

She was the matriarch of the Snyder family. She hovered over her clan of 30 with loving, caring attention, giving each one of them a sense of importance. She let them know that their concerns, were her concerns. She cared for them in such a way that let each of them know, they mattered. She lived her life as to set an example for the family that loved her so much. She left many memories that she will be remembered for. Her presence will be missed by the many that loved her.

I remember the first time I met Judy (Heffernen) not yet Snyder. I went to high school with John Snyder and his soon to be wife, Judy was this cute, smiling, cheerleader from St. Teresa. Her voice and story captivated me even then. Judy and John were “The” couple and for a lifetime. It was always fun to see her and yes share out stories. She loved her family and they adored, respected and loved her. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is smiling with her Lord and yes, sharing her stories of life, love and happiness. My heart goes out to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her husband John, who lived his vows to the fullest with love and joy in the good times and bad times.

I was saddened today to hear of Judy’s passing! I have so many great memories of being around the whole family! One of my favorite memories is when Judy and my mom volunteered together to teach our Sunday School Class when we were in Junior High. On the days my mom would teach Judy would sit behind me and I would turn around and make some funny comment and she would start laughing and then hit me on the shoulder and tell me to turn around before we both got in trouble. There many other memories of being over at the house with all the kids! Thank you to the entire family for so many great times! Judy will be missed
