Judith Ann Snyder's Obituary
Judith Ann Snyder, passed peacefully with her family by her side on July 7, 2018.
Judy was born January 7, 1940, to Paul and Mary Ellen Heffernan in Decatur, Illinois. She attended St. Patrick School and graduated from St. Teresa High School. She married John William Snyder on February 7, 1959.
She is survived by her husband, her daughters Suzanne Snyder, Teresa (Randy) Miller, Carol (Ralph) French, Laurie (Randall) Edwards, and sons, John Paul (Kim), Matthew (Aleshia), and Mark (Rhonda Braden) Snyder, as well as sisters Margaret (Roger) Drake, Laurie (Ron) Thompson and brother Mike Heffernan. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as many special nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Ellen Copeland, Paula Keller, Lucy Auvil, Jan McCoy and infant sister Frances Heffernan.
Judy was a loving wife and mother who was present at all of her children’s activities and welcomed every person who entered her home. She loved to laugh and tell stories with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mass of Christian burial will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at St. Patrick Church. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home with liturgical prayers recited at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be private family.
