King E. Forkner, age 84 of Decatur, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2004, in his residence.

King was born in Decatur, Illinois, on November 18, 1919, the son of Roy and Florien Driggs Forkner. He was a projectionist for many years at the Avon Theatre. He married Margaret Gentry on October 04, 1947, in Decatur, Illinois; she preceded him in death on June 09, 2000, in Bellevue, Ohio.
King is survived by his daughter; Patricia A. Forkner of Columbia, CT.; two nieces Christine and Jan Brown.
King was also preceded in death by his parents, sister; Donna.
