I've know Laura since Kindergarten in Alton, Illinois. We were classmates, fellow Girl Scouts, high school and college friends. My heart is breaking at her passing. These testimonies are amazing to read and prove that we were all better for having had Laura in our life at some point, and in some capacity. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

Laura was a person who made me feel very comfortable when I was invited to share a dinner or holiday with the Brosamer’s back in the early 80’s. She knew how to put an outsider at ease with her sense of humor ! I was always grateful for her presence when i visited.
Laura was one of my greatest friends and confidants at St. Teresa. She was someone I could vent to and who always had my back. She made me laugh. I have to admit that sometimes I’d just find an excuse to go to the library, for the students of course, just to hang out. Incredibly knowledgeable. And really could explain how to do those damn research papers, something I hated almost as much as the kids. What a loss. I’m still reeling. All my love to you, Chris, and your amazing kids. Spence
