So sorry of your Mom's passing. No matter how old or young or how sick or well, it is always hard to loose your mother. You did a wonderful job taking care of her. Praying for peace for you.Nancy Bettler
Days at Restmor are not the same without our Lena. I knew instantly that Lena and Marie were like soul sisters and they would do anything for each other. Lena greeted me every day with a kiss and a wave. I absolutely loved the stories Lena shared with me about her mom serving her dad rocks for dinner. I can still hear her laughing. Rosemary, you are a wonderful daughter and I hope you know how much you mean to your mom. I will miss the time that we do not have with her anymore, but look forward to her greeting this John Sacko with a smile and a warm embrace when we meet again. You are in my thoughts!
when my mother arrived at Apostolic Christian Restmor Nursing Home she was not doing very well but she had this amazing woman as her room mate. My mother ,Marie, and Lena bonded immediatly. Lena gave Marie a reason, a purpose for being here. Mom felt she was needed and she did her best to make sure Lena was not alone and as happy as she could be.Lena also took care of Mom…when she was down they could cheer each other up when no one else could. They had this unique way of conversing that we could never figure out. Neither one of them could hear well but they totally understood what the other one was needing or wanting. They had a connection that will never be broken. They will meet again and the connection will still be there. We Love you, Lena and will miss you everyday.
