Dear Judy – Bill and I can't be with you today, but please know that you have been and are today in our thoughts and prayers. We did not have the pleasure of knowing your Mom, but seeing her beautiful pictures we know that you are truly her beautiful, special daughter. Give hugs to Ty and AJ for us too. Sarah and I will miss Leona greatly. She always had a smile, a hug, a kiss on the cheek and a wise word. She will be greatly missed by all of her Beta sisters and all who were lucky enough to have met her. Take care. With loving sympathy,Ruth and Sarah Krekel Decatur, IL US
Kay & Judy,There will never be another Leona! She was a very gracious lady who starred in many of my childhood memories growing up on Clay Street. My Mom, Betty, also, recalls: "Leona was very good to me with helping me with my driving and going with me to the drivers' place to get my license. What a joy it has been to have the license and to drive the many miles I have." Leona made that dream come true for my Mom! We are just two of the many lives she touched! Thank you for sharing her with us! She was a blessing to all! We will keep Leona and your family in our prayers…and, ever, in our hearts! Springfield, IL US
Gary & I are so sorry for your loss. The only redemption is that we will be together, again, soon!! We love you William. Our prayers are with you. Gary & Barbara Rains Rogers, AR US
