I have no memories of Louie. We moved from Cottage Hill about the time he was born. However I do remember the rest of you as children. I can see your house, the basement & the great front porch. I remember a bedroom closet with a laundry chute we used to throw stuff down. We all had such fun playing in the "swamp"! I can hear your mom calling you, using your middle names, too. Hope to see you at the reunion in Sept. Diane Behrend Edwards
My Brother Louie Pitts will be remembered for his gentle nature and natural born musical talent. Our family has lost three of the youngest siblings of five children, including our Sister Marcella Hathaway Naughton in August of 1992 and our Brother Stephen Michael Hathaway in June of 2016. Louie is survived by his Brother Richard Wayne Hathaway and Sister Suzanne Hathaway Marquardt. Louie's passing leaves one more scar on our hearts and he will be greatly missed in our extended family. Please join the family in the Celebration of Louie's life on Saturday the 23rd of June from 2 to 4 PM at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home.

I met Louie thru my late husband Barry. Many nights and weekends Louie, Barry, Bob T and others would be writing music, composing songs and recording them at our home. We had such a great time. Candy, you are his # 1 fan and you kept him focused on his talent – music. You are an angel. I know he and Barry will be jammin again! Love to you and the family. See you soon.Suzy Billmanand Killer
I knew Louie thru my brother Barry. I used to hang out and listen to the two them working out tunes together back when I was a kid. I always had a great respect for Louie's musicianship and songwriting talents. Louie always treated me kindly even tho I was the 'little brother' I'm sure bugging the two of them. When Barry passed, Louie was at his celebration and we spoke of those times. It made things a little easier. Thank you Louie for being Louie.
So sorry to hear of Lewisâ??s passing. We were friends in junior high and shared a love of music that we both carried into our adult lives. Although I didnâ??t see him that often I have fond memories of our time back then and always had a great laugh or two about our youth when I did see him. Rest In Peace my old friend. Sincerely, Joe Hammel
