Thanks Garry….nice to see people of when I was growing up remembering daddy!
Thank you Linda. It was nice to see Devin the other day.
One more thing. When ya hear people talking about â??old school â?? and â??tough â?? remember this…..our Uncle Dale dug that basement with a round point shovel………. under his existing house. Thatâ??s determination and a strong body
If you needed help a Uncle Dale knew how you were in luck. When we remodeled the Dalton City house i had the kitchen wiring as well as the furnace so jacked up we had sparks but no heat. I called and right after work he came and worked in that filthy mess until 1:00 AM. When he left everything was rewired and we had heat. Like Jerry said he had that ornery grin. What a time in Jana and my lives. Neighbors with Uncle Dale and Aunt Gloria. Our walks were intentional passing their house and most times there he was working in the house, yard or a new project. He always made us feel so at home
We were so sorry to hear of Dale's passing, we send our sympathy to the family at this time. Sorry I won't be able to come to his services.
Mrs. Groves and Family I was very upset when I saw the passing of Mr.Groves. Please accept my deepest condolences, and remember that prayers and thoughts for all of you are in my heart.God Bless and take care. Sincerely Garry Gandy
I was saddened to hear of our family loss.I will always be thankful for the love and support Uncle Dale showed my Dad and Mom. Mom said you could always count on him to visit. My nephew, Trevor had a bond with Uncle Dale too, since he stayed with Mom and Dad during the day.I'm glad Mom and I got up to the hospital to see Uncle Dale when I came down for an early Christmas.I'll always remember the fun we all enjoyed at the Groves' reunions. I like to think they're all having another reunion up there and playing horseshoes.

Thx Jerry for sharing! Daddy loved his family so much! The Saturday before he passed, he told me about your visit and how great it was to see you! All his kids have wonderful memories of time spent with our Wakeman side of the family!
