Mama Louise had a way of making everyone feel special—and she never missed a Sunday to remind me of that. Every week before Praise and Worship, there would be a bag of candy waiting in my seat, from her. Even when she became too sick to drive herself to church, she still made sure someone stopped to pick up that candy for me. And oh, that cabbage she knew I loved—it always came with a warm pan of her cornbread, made with love.
Her thoughtfulness, her kindness, and her unwavering love will never be forgotten. I love you, Mama Louise. You’re already deeply missed. Rest well!
