I will always remember Lucille so fondly as she was able to clean my house, iron the clothes, and take care of the kids all in a half day. She was so much fun, kidding around with my ex-husband and only requiring that I had Pepsi for her when she came. She would say-"Madelyn, where is my Pepsi???" One year when Robert and I went on vacation and she babysat Page and Robbie, she even killed a snake in our backyard. She never let me forget it!I am so sorry we lost touch with her when we moved to Texas. What a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. I extend my sympathy at the loss of Mrs. Treadwell. I met her at Fair Havens in early 2009 when my mom was a resident there. I always made a point of going to her table to say hello and to talk with her in the dining room. She was always nice to me and asked me about my hats on Sunday when I came to Fair Havens after I went to church. I made a lap blanket for her and wrote her name on the back of it. Each time I visited her, she talked about the blanket and said I was a blessing to her for making it. I felt she was a blessing to me because she told me about her young life as a young mother. I know that Pastor Marshall Hughes will have a wonderful going home ceremony for Mrs. Treadwell. He is a former student of mine at Roosevelt Middle School, and I am glad to see the path that his life has taken. I know that Mrs. Treadwell is praising her Savior and is enjoying her new mansion in Heaven. Karen Rivera
