Lydia Ann Harris, 71, of Decatur, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008, in her home. Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in New Salem Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be in Camp Butler Na Read Obituary
In 1964 I first meet Lydia. I was a new RN and she was working with me. She was pleasant to work with and very helpful to me. Over the years I would see her and she always had that great smile. It was a privilege to know her.Marlin Felts Decatur, IL US
I'm so sorry to learn of your loss. Lydia helped care for my mother when she was recovering from hip surgery two years ago. She was a wonderful person, a true lady who was a delight to know. She always had a beautiful smile and such a cheerful attitude. My condolences to Lydia's family. I first knew Lydia when I was a student nurse working summer vacation at the old St. Mary's. She taught me so much and we had a great time together.
