Dear Denise, I was so sad to see that your Mom had passed away. I'm sorry I could not come to visitation-I have the flu bug My Mom died when I was 23 and my Daddy just died in November. I grew up with your family and you are all very dear to me. I think back on the history that I have with all of you and it brings a smile to my face. Having grown up with Steve, bless Mary Kay for all of the times that she had to deal with our silliness as youngsters. Now that I am grown up, I never lost touch with the family and will cherish the visits that I had with her every time I was home. She was a warm-hearted person and always cared about my life and my happiness. I will forever cherish the winter scarf she knit for me a few years ago. It is difficult when I think that I will not be able to visit with her anymore in person, but her spirit will live among us forever. Our hearts are breaking for Kay's family. Her son, Steve, is our son-in-law and in the years we have known the family we dearly loved Kay. She was such a wonderful, sweet person – a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to Michael and Matthew. We will miss our talks and beautiful cards from her.She so enjoyed the visits she and Dennis made to see Steve and our daughter, Lori. I have never met a more down to earth sincere friend than Kay, she always had a way of making you feel comfortable being around her. She was always concerned about other people and thier feelings. I never heard her complain about not feeling well. She always seemed to be so upbeat. You knew that Kay dearly loved her family and enjoyed the trips her and Dennis got to share, she was always proud to show off the pictures. Kay was a person with many talents and a heart out of this world there wasn't a time that went by that she didn't ask about our children and grandchildren, she would love to hold the babies at the fish fry. Kay was one of my dearest friends throughout the years. She attended many Bible classes and prayer meetings in my home. She was long suffering and loved the Lord with all her heart. I never heard her complain. She attended a Life in the Spirit seminar to renew her life in the Spirit just a few months ago. She sent me a beautiful Christmas card with a beautiful message. I know she was devoted to her husband and her children. I shall miss her so much. , IL US
