Michael L. Finfrock's Obituary
Michael Leo Finfrock died December 25th, 2016 of natural causes. He was born November 2, 1952 to Ivan Finfrock Jr. and Margaret (McEvoy) Finfrock in Decatur, IL.
Mike lived in Decatur his whole life attending Holy Family Catholic Church and retiring from Firestone. He loved the outdoors including fishing, hunting, and was a Master Gardener. In his retirement years he enjoyed woodworking. One would always see him watching or listening to his beloved St. Louis Cardinals with a diet Dr. Pepper in his hand.
He was the beloved son of Leo (deceased) and Margaret and brother to Becky (David) Patterson, Patrick (Theresa), and Danny (Candy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Sara, Josh, Alicia, Gwynne, Claire, Benjamin, Abby, Audrey, Ava, Alaina, and many great nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his ex-wife and close friend Pennie Finfrock and her family. Mike has many cousins and friends throughout the country. We can’t forget Hope, his 4-legged companion for the last few years.
Thanks to the staff at Cracker Barrel for the kindness and friendship thru the many years he was a regular there.
