My neighbor and Mike's dad both worked at Wagner Casting and Mike became my favorite football player at SDHS. When I had the chance to shake his hand after a Reds win, I rubbed my right hand behind my ear so that his handshake would never be washed away. Of course, 10 year olds never washed behind their ears. I have always remembered that occasion, and am truly sorry that his life ended so soon. You have my deepest sympathies. Princeton, IL US
