Dear Anne and Family,I thoroughly enjoyed Bud in the last 23 years that I have known him !! I met him at Rusty's 23 yrs ago, and have been honored with his wit, kindness and friendship since. I have been honored by Bud in his fellowship, his kind words to me in my time of need and those other friendship times, the trade that we shared in electricity for which we had so much in common. I enjoyed every moment hunting with Bud, his insight and philosophies of the sport. I walked the fields many years with him, and shared my deer stand with him. I hope to share some pictures with you guys in the future. Forgive me here, that I am limited to only 1000 characters. I weeped at the news, but was lightened by memories and knowing that Bud is looking down and watching and caring for all of us. Bud has entered into the lives of many outside of your family, and you should be proud of that. He has touched others in such a positive way. Anne, I visited Bud with Rusty and Janet last month, and am thankful for that time and for meeting you and Mike and family. I still have tears now, but for knowing that Bud has ascended to a Better Place, and knowing that I can remember him as a friend that cared for me as well as everyone around him. Tell your grandkids that Bud "got me" a couple of times, like he probably did with them. My wishes to you and your family, Anne, that your suffering be minimal, that you guys realize the precious gift that Bud has given you over the years, and remember Bud BuckOtis with the sweetness and good times shared. Sincerely and with Love, Greg Kubik Jackson, MO US
