Phyllis always had a smile on her face when we would enter her room at Imboden, She was always full of compliments when we would talk to her which was almost every day for the last 2 years, as her room mate was my mother. In looking at some of the family pictures it appeared to us you were a close family and cared for her deeply Please know how sorry we are for her passing, your family is in our thoughts and prayers.Leslie Lawson Kirby
Ralph and Leon . . . I always thought your mother was a very gracious and kind lady. I can still her soft voice calling to Ralph and I when we got too loud goofing around in our sleeping bags in your back yard during a summer sleepover. Phyllis was a dear lady….I volunteer at Imboden on Tuesday nights…..about 2 weeks ago Phyllis was out in the lobby and I always stopped by and told her what pretty blue eyes she had, gave her a hug and a kiss on the forehead……she really hadn't responded recently but would usually give me a weak smile…this time I told her about her pretty blue eyes, stroked her forehead, gave her a hug and a kiss……she looked at me and said "Thank you" and that was worth a million dollars to me. May she rest in peace.
Robert – My sincerest sympathy on the loss of your sister. Have many memories of your family during years in Mason City, Iowa. Remember you helping my dad on the farm and milk route.
