I worked at Magna Bank, the mini bank downtown during the late 80's early 90's. Mr Sobottka was one of my favorite customers, was always a pleasure to see him walk in with a smile what a great person he was!. Sending my prayers to his family.
I've known Ray since I was 3. I have fond memories of playing Lone Ranger and Tonto. There was another boy Ronnie Price. Ray was Tonto and Ronnie was The Lone Ranger, and I was always the one being rescued. Of course, I am a girl. We ran all over the neighborhood on imaginary horses. Those were the days of sunshine and innocence.May the family know what a friend he was all these years.Sandra Scharnett Cummins

Terry and family. I am deeply saddened to hear of your dads passing. Remember the good times always. God called an Angel home. Prayers for you.
One of my favorite all-time business stories for the H&R was about Ray and Don and their "stand-up" act. Ray was a great guy. He enjoyed life.
