My heartfelt prayers are sent to you, Dick's family. I know Dick has joined Pat & bothare continuing to watch over all of you, their precious and much loved family. I was fortunate to be Dick's Secretary at ADM for 3-1/2 years, only leaving to move toFlorida. He & I enjoyed arguing with each other every day about something, don't remember exactly what. He & beautiful Pat were fantastic Hosts, we enjoyed severalparties at their home.. Once when a bad snow storm was predicted Dick tried to talk all in his Department to go out to his house & stay, he wanted to be sure we were all safe. Last October, after an absence of 8 – 10 years, I was able to visit back home. I'd called Dick & three other lady friends/coworkers to have lunch. Dick was in the middle of a family wedding & had just that one day he could meet with us. Although we had all kept in touch over the years, it was wonderful laughing & talking to each other in person. I told Dick that I had worked for several bosses in my 40 years & he, by far, was the best boss of all. He took care of "his people" as he did his family. Lots of love & respectto this wonderful guy, we'll miss him. Sincerely, Beverly Blakeman
