Dear Hansen Family,Our deepest sympathy to your family for you loss. Rick worked for Robert for several years untill 2005. He enjoyed working for him and they got to be quite good friends. We live in Nashville Il and Robert would stop in at my work to see me or our home when he was in the area. We enjoyed his company and also visiting his home when we come to Decatur to visit Ricks family. He was a kind and generous soul and we will miss him dearly and his smile! Dear cousins,I have found memories of Uncle Bob, as a little girl I always looked up to him as an kind and warm gentle man, who loved our family and us 6 kids Donnie, Teresa, Dee Dee, Bonnie, Laurie, and Jake. My mom Gloria unselfishly took care of Uncle Bob for a month last year, thank you to our sister Dee Dee Hansen who took care of Uncle Bob his last few months, and Teresa Cothren you are to be thanked for taking Uncle Bob to all his appointments at the VA. Dear Debbie Louann and Scottie,I am sorry about the loss of your dad. My thought and prayers are with you. Unfortunately my family and I are unable to be with you at this time of grief. I will miss my uncle and will have many fond memories. I have a little story to share with you. He was taking me to kindergarden one day because I missed the bus. he happen to be at the house and offered to take me to school. The funny thing was neither of us knew where Sunny Side School was and had a heck of a time finding it. I also remember he used to come over alot on Sundays to spend time with my dad and us. I'll always remember his warm smile. Another thing I wanted to share was that it was very comforting seeing my uncle when my dad had passed away because he reminded me so much of my own dad.
