Robert H. Hansen's Obituary
Robert H. Hansen, 85, of Decatur passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010 in his home.
Robert was born on July 2, 1925 in Kenosha, WI the son of Harold and Elizabeth Peterson Hansen. He was a painting contractor and a WWII Marine Veteran. He married Mary Ann Sarver on June 29, 1952 in Clinton, IL. She preceded him in death on September 27, 2004.
Surviving are his son, Scott Hansen Lisa of Bushnell, IL; daughters, Luanne Zellars Dave of Decatur; Debbie Jessen of Macomb, IL; sisters, Jean Rizzo Lenny of Kenosha, WI; Mabel Dyer of Richmond, VA; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and close friend, Ron Riley of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother Donald Hansen, and step-mother, Viola.
Memorial service will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Weltin officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to DMH Hospice.
