Dear Mrs Lees and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather. I have such wonderful memories of many lovely dinners, sleepovers, camping in the back yard and just hanging out on the front porch swing. He was always patient and kind and welcoming to all the neighborhood kids. And wow! that included a whole bunch of Lewis girls. I never ever saw him even once lose his patience with any of us. There aren't many men like him. I know he will be missed dearly by all of you and many others as well. Sending all my love, prayers and heart felt sympathy to you all.

Heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Lees and the entire Lees family. I have distinct and fond memories of spending many afternoons at the Lees’ home in my youth. Every summer, in anticipation of their family vacation, Mr. Lees used to set up the big green tent in the back yard where we would often play and sometimes sleep over. He was a solid softball pitcher and at the center of more than one neighborhood game. A soft spoken man who took great interest in his family; I know he will be missed. At this time, may you find comfort in each other, and in the many memories you share of him.
