Robert “Bob” L. Kolbeck, 90, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Moweaqua Rehabilitation & Health Care. Bob was born January 12, 1928, in Decatur, to Louis J. and Mary T. (Weber) Kolbeck. He proudly served in Read Obituary
I am sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. My husband Jim, daughter Jennifer, and I lived next door to them on Moundview Ln.They were wonderful people. We had many good “driveway” and backyard” visits during those years. You kids were blessed to have had them for parents.
I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. He and Agnes were such beautiful people, I think of them often. Two wonderful people that we will never forget, I cherish all of the memories made with them. Our sincerest condolences for the entire family and we wish you all God’s peace and blessings.
I am so saddened by the passing of my dear cousin Bob and for all of you, his family. I owed him a visit in Moweaqua and now with a tear in my eye I have only regrets that I didn’t let it happen. I’m so sorry that I let TIME get in the way. Bob was one of my favorites and I sure enjoyed the chats we were fortunate to share. He could remember all the good old times and had the humor to go with them, especially the memories from out on mom and dad’s farm at Wendelin and at Uncle Lue and Aunt Mary’s in Decatur as well. For all the suffering he endured in this life…..may he now enjoy his eternal reward. Rest in peace ol’ buddy.
