Lit a candle in memory of Robert L. Strachan, Sr.
Our deepest sympathy go out to the Strachan family. Bob and Nelda have the biggest hearts of any people we have ever met. I am so grateful to have had so many cherished memories with them. Bob was a great man and will be missed greatly.
My heart-felt sorrow for as far as I am concerned to the greatest man, a gift to all children, and of course to adults from the young to the old will be felt forever. He touched all of our family for many years. He brought joy to The Cowger family for many years. My mother was especially fond of him and Mrs. Strachan for many years. He truly was Santa Claus. It didn't matter what time of the year it was, whether he was getting a bite to eat in July, he always had time for the children.God Bless the Family and know he has a special place in heaven as well as our hearts.
Our family is so sad to hear of Bob's passing. We have years of wonderful memories of him and his wife coming to our house on Christmas Eve as Santa and Mrs. Claus. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was a very sweet man and will hold a special place in our memories.
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Bob was a wonderful person and gave our family great joy as Santa at our family gatherings Our Christmas' were such a joyful time thanks to him. He will be forever in our hearts
With sincere sympathy to your family. Like Kelly said, your dad was captured on our family photos for years and what dedicated service he gave to our community for so many years as Santa's helper.God Bless you all.
To the family,My sincere heartfelt condolances to you all. Your father and husband was captured in my camera many times through the years and always amazed this photographer and countless children in his alter ego role as a jolly sweet man. Susan, Cindy and I WISH we could be there for you in this time but we cannot. Your father was very proud of you and he always connected me to you when he heard me say Cerro Gordo. Prayers your way and God bless your family in this time.Kelly J. Huff
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Strahan family. It was truly an honor and a blessing to have known such a great man and such a wonderful family. We shared many happy moments as our families grew up together and I will always remember the joy and happiness that santa and mrs claus brought not only when christmastime approached, but throughout the year. He always had a smile on his contenence and he is smiling with God now. Bless you
