Rosalie Goffas 72 of Decatur died Saturday November 15, 2003 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be 2:00 pm Tuesday November 18, 2003 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Monday in the funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Soyland Access to Independent Living SAIL. Condolences may be made to the family at www.moranandgoebel.com.
Rosalie was born on August 7, 1931 in Decatur, IL the daughter of James and Nellie Pritts Goffas. She was Decatur High school Graduate received her bachelors degree from Millikin University and her masters degree from the University of Illinois. She was a retired Schoolteacher. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a board member of SAIL. She had Volunteered for Red Cross Blood Bank and helped teach probationers remedial reading. She also served as an election judge for many years.
She is survived by several cousins and was preceded in death by her parents.
