grandma was one of my my favorite people in the world. I can still hear her shaky voice saying my name. She was one of the nicest people I ever met. Last year I had the privelage to give her the best and last birthday gift of her life, my son Jack. I had seen her just 6 days before and she had asked,"Can you please hold out and have that baby on Friday."her 95th birthday. Not that I had any control, but I'm glad that's how it worked out. grandma and I had a special relationship and I was so happy that I could give her that one gift. She called me once and told me that she loved all of her grandchildren very much but that Jack would always be very special to her. I can't explain how much that meant. I can't wait for Jack to get older so I can tell him about his great-great grandma and how much she loved him and how special he was to her. I love you grandma. O'fallon, MO US
