Grandpa:We were there to share in the memories of your life and to show our love and support and of course Bill and I and Matt, Molly and Amanda had to return to Texas but our hearts are still broken for the loss of such a wonderful father, father-in-law and of course special, special Grandpa. I know you knew how much I admired you and Grandma, besides the love of my own family you are the two people I admire most in this world. Our lives brightened up each visit either here or there and we will do our best to help Grandma and carry on with our wonderful memories. It was an honor to be the mother of 3 of your grandchildren and all your grandchildren are special. Matthew will carry on the Leonard name and if Claire could call you up in heaven she would tell you Grandpa is her favorite. Grandma may have to take over for awhile in that department but I hope we all feel you presence surround us and help us through this heartbreaking time until we can meet again.
