Sandy Kaye Mendenall's Obituary
Sandy Kaye Logue Mendenall, 58, of Decatur, left this world for a better one, Thursday, March 22, 2007, in her home, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Services celebrating her life will be 11 am Monday, March 26, 2007, in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, Rev. Jeff DeLaughter officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 pm Sunday, March 25, 2007, in the funeral home. The family is requesting casual attire. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be given to St. John's Hospice or American Cancer Society.
Sandy was born on December 1, 1948 in Decatur, the daughter of Charles D. and Marilyn M. Davis Logue. She worked as the Administrative Assistant for Andy Richars, Director of Human Resources, Administration & Compensation at A.D.M. Sandy loved to work with ceramics and shoot pool. She was a proud member of the A.P.A. She married Jack Mendenall, Jr. August 11, 1979 in Decatur.
Surviving is her loving husband, Jack of Decatur; their son, Todd Mendenall of Tampa, FL; grandsons: Jimmy, Ethan and Cody; parents: Charles D. and Marilyn Davis Logue of Decatur; brothers: Mark Logue of Snyder, TX, Greg Karen Logue of Warrensburg; sisters: Kathy Hauck of Moweaqua, Cindy Dan Fuentes of Decatur; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank St. John's Hospice, Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois, especially Dr. Ben Esparaz and Dr. Renata Moore. Special "Thank You" & "God Bless" to St. John's Hospice Nurse, Lynn "Peachy" Berner our honorary sister, We Love You!!
