I'm so sorry to hear she has left us. I only ran into her once as an adult but she was the same sweet girl I knew in grade school. I'll never forget one exceptionally hot day in fourth grade. All the boys were taking their shirts off and she didn't think it was fair she couldn't. So I encouraged her to. I think the teacher was Mrs. Norville. I don't remember anymore. I hope she didn't get in trouble but I think we both visited the principal's office that year. Sherri was so much fun to be with. I hope you all can remember and focus on all the good times. Sherry and I went to Eisenhower together and shared a locker. She used to make me so mad because she would bring chicken wings to school with mustard on them and she would get them on our books and notebook paper, what I wouldn't give to be able to fix her some chicken wings with mustard, of course, and give them to her. I would occasionally run into her and we would be like two cackling hens trying to play catch-up. I will miss you Baby-Girl". Decatur, IL US
To my friend's family. I love her and share your grief. Sheri was so special and unique. She sounded different, she acted different, and she dressed different. Besides her kind spirit and big heart, she did things her way and that's why she was my friend. Sheri was always the first of the group to try the something new. She was never afraid to live and explore. Although we did not talk much since my move to Indianapolis, boy would we talk when I would visit. I could always count on her being humorous and real. No matter how long it was between visits. She will be missed. My twin and sister in Christ, I love you always. Your play sister, April INDIANAPOLIS, IN US
To the family of Sherry, her voice will be missed, her personality and style. Sherry shared the stage many nights with my dad L.T. and now they will make music with the Lord. All my love to the family. Decatur, IL US
