Sibylle Eva Maria Cunningham's Obituary
Sibylle Eva Maria Cunningham was born on January 9, 1953, in Weilheim-Teck, Germany and went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 11, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Gerhard and Christine (Gienger) Weissinger. Sibylle, also known as “Billie,” married Dennis Cunningham on August 16, 1977. He preceded her in death in 2012.
Sibylle and family immigrated to America in 1967. She attended Roosevelt Jr. High and Stephen Decatur High School, then worked at Borg Warner, later helped her husband in their business American Materials making produce displays and was a homemaker. She spent many years enjoying her grandchildren who affectionately called her BB. She loved her cats, flowers, and had a garden. She also enjoyed knitting and walking in nature. Sibylle loved the Lord her God.
She is survived by her son, Daniel (Aimee) Cunningham; daughter, Andrea Wright-Hill; and her grandchildren: Chaniece, Mikalia, Davin, and Samarah Cunningham, Andrew (Michelle) Fowler, Tyler (Faythe) Hill and Sierra (Drew) Cox; great-grandchildren: Aliviea, Keith, Amiya, Jade, and Andre Fowler and Michael Cox. Siblings: Pete (Pam) Weissinger of TN and Sonja (Dave) Hancock of Owaneco, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, mother-in-law, and her sister-in-law.
Honoring her wishes, there will be no Memorial Service. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
