Dear Bob, Bill, Barbara, Paul and Mike. I've known Babe since I was 14 years old. Being friends with Bob and Bill who are my age, she welcomed me into her home. Not only was she my mom's closest friend, but I loved her too.I stopped to see her the night before my own dad passed away and she and your dad, Bob, were such a comfort to me, letting me cry and making me laugh with stories about him.She was kind, funny, compassionate and non-complaining. She came to my brother-in-law's visitation in October in Springfield and I know the effort that took but also that she wanted to be with her good friend Mary and wouldn't have it any other way. Barbara, she talked of all that you did for her every time I saw her. She will be missed and I will be thinking of all of you during this time. A special thought to Bob and Bill from your old friend Carol Lake Oswego, OR US
