William E. Duffer's Obituary
William “Bill” E. Duffer Sr., 80, of Mt. Pulaski, passed away Thursday, April 07, 2016, in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Bill was born February 9, 1936, in Memphis, TN, the son of William Bradford and Christine (McKee). Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, collecting rocks, and mixing chemicals together. He married Joyce Sigmon on November 10, 1961, in Pine Bluff, AK. They shared 54 wonderful years together.
Bill leaves behind his wife, Joyce; son, John Harold Duffer and wife Mary of Bedford, MO; daughters, Carol Ann Kline of Riverton, IL; Christine Elizabeth Morse of Lincoln, IL; half-brother, Sidney Duffer; half-sisters, Linda and Norma; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son, William Duffer Jr.
Services to celebrate Bill’s life will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016, at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service. Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery.
