Decatur-Jerri Crawley, 57, of Decatur, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 in her home with her family by her side.

Jerri was born August 8, 1960 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Donald and Betty (Manley) Tucker. She was previously employed as the manager of the Ayerco Gas Station in Decatur. Jerri enjoyed bingo, dirt track racing, and spending time with her family. She married Albert Crawley January 28, 1979.

Jerri leaves behind her husband Al Sr., children Albert Crawley Jr. and Jennifer (Adam) Banister, brother William Aubert, sisters Carolyn (Allen) Nash, Sharon (Gary) Brackett, Peggy Crist, and Terri Tulak, grandchildren Bristol Banister, Hannah Kirkland, and Dayton Massey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Jerri was preceded in death by her parents and sister Penny Rhea.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff with Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois and DMH Hospice for all of their loving care.

Services to celebrate Jerri’s life will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday, November 10, 2017 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Al Crawley.

  2. We always enjoyed our visits with Jerri & AL when they would stop by on Saturday mornings. We would talk for hours but it seemed like just a short time. We could always tell that Jerri had a good heart and was a good person. Very sorry to AL & the family for the loss.

  5. Jerri was the "tag-along" when all of us "older" cousins got together. She always wanted to be a part of whatever we were doing and of course, we didn't necessarily want her included. But Grandma Manley, Aunt Betty, and my mom often would make us let her join us. Now that we're older, much older, I wish you were around to be included.

  8. Jeri, I have always looked at you as a mother figure. You are an awesome person. One of the best bosses I ever had. It broke my heart when Ayerco closed. Our family was separated.   11. I met Jerri at K's Merchandise and worked with her for about 7 years before becoming her sister-in-law. Jerri welcomed me into the family easily and I have always felt blessed to know her. She was an awesome person. She loved with her whole heart. She will be missed but she will be around always to guide her family. Of this I am certain. Maybe gone but still in many hearts.
