Lois Eileen Burcham

Decatur – Lois Eileen Burcham, 77, of Fredericktown, MO, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018. 

Lois was born December 8, 1940, in Taylorville, IL, the daughter of Kobert Leon and Wilma Eileen (Dye) Hedges. She worked as a caregiver and was a member of Resurrection Life Church.  

She is survived by her children: Donnie (Julie) Burcham of Waverly, TN, Brian (Becky) Burcham of Decatur, Mark Burcham of Decatur, John Burcham of Fredericktown, MO, Kathy Montgomery of Fredericktown, MO; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; step-mother, Velma Hedges of Decatur; uncle Joe and aunt Dean Hedges of Bloomington; sisters: Wendy (Gary) Shugart of Decatur and Patty (Kenny) Boedecker of Chenoa; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter and brothers: Toby Hedges, Rocky Hedges, Jay Gill and Gary Gill. 

Visitation will be Saturday, December 8, 2018, from 2 to 4 PM, at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
